About: LOS ANGELES SWIM ACADEMY
Our focus is on water safety first and foremost, then teaching relaxed swimming skills, followed by proper swimming style and technique. Our time tested methodology has proven to advance children’s coordination, endurance, and precision with a gentle and energetic approach. We use a very fun loving, honest, and guiding technique—leaving a lasting impression. Whether you are a year old or a 101 years old, you will leave each lesson eager for the next one!

Our daughter, Ellie, started when she was 3 1/2 years old. Swim Academy got her comfortable in the water and built her confidence -- always emphasizing fun and safety. Within a few months she was able to swim to the side of the pool and get out on her own. Her skills improve with every lesson and she truly loves the water. The staff is professional, patient and loving. Ellie's eyes light up when we tell her she has a lesson.

Eileen runs a phenomenal swimming program. When our son started he was terrified to even get in the water, and now he's swimming like a champ. She and and her crew foster a nurturing and fun environment that can turn any minnow into a full fledged fish.

Aqua fitness is amazing!
The aqua fitness class is amazing. It is the best work out I have ever had and you don't even sweat! Eileen really knows how to work us hard and at the same time enjoy it. I have been taking this class for almost two years and it has really helped me with my asthma and stamina. I just wish the class was every day!

All of our kids are swimming now!
Swim Academy is great! We arranged group lessons for late Sunday afternoon the past two summers and all the families loved it! Most important though, was that all the kids are swimming now--even the toddlers!

I have been participating in the Swim Academy Program for close to 4 years now. My son learned to swim and is now on the Jr. Swim Team (age 6). My daughter is now in the program as well and is already learning how to swim and most importantly float and get herself to safety (age 3). The Swim Academy teaches and fosters kids to have both confidence and fun in the pool. I would not trust anyone more than Eileen and her staff with my kids in the water.

Eileen, you are fabulous! For the past several years Dani has loved taking Swim Team from you. You are dynamic, knowledgeable, friendly and an all-around great swim instructor! I am writing on behalf of Eileen and the entire Swim Academy team. I have three children at the Hollywood Schoolhouse and have had all three children learn to swim through this program.
One of them most important thing is that they have learned the love of water and water safety through this incredibly thoughtful and nurturing Swim Academy program. Eileen and all her staff are true professionals and have a deep commitment to work with individual children and address any needs they might while continuing to make water safety a top priority. Swim Academy has a unique way of teaching the concepts of swimming while making it fun and safe. I can’t thank Eileen and her staff enough for all the patience and time they have taken to make sure all the children at the Schoolhouse and beyond, feel comfortable in the water and continue to grow as a swimmer. Teachers are amazing!
Eileen and the Swim Academy teachers are amazing. Our two boys were afraid of the water and made up excuses to get out of swimming. After lessons with the patient, creative Swim Academy teachers, they started to enjoy swimming so much that now they beg for extra trips to the pool and the beach. They are pool safe, they gained fitness and confidence, and best of all, they decided that swimming’s just plain fun. Their baby sister will take Swim Academy lessons, too, as soon as she’s old enough to walk down those pool steps on her own.
